Describing how you’ll manage health and safety in your business will also let your employees and others know about your commitment to health and safety. Your policy should clearly set out who does what, when and how. It doesn’t need to be complicated or time-consuming but be aware that a health and safety policy will only be effective if you and your staff follow it and you review it regularly.
